Year - Round Program

September 9th, 2022 will mark Vassiliev Academy's Inaugural Class for it's year-round program for professionally bound students. Our program is highly competitive and enables only 20 - 30 select students for our Class. Vassiliev Academy takes pride in creating an ambitious vision for an Academy that is in line with the great Classical Academy Traditions which are established in France, England, Asia and of course, Russia.
To this end Vassiliev Academy of Classical Ballet offers:
TERM 2
TERM 1
From September 9th, 2022- December 15th 2022, It will be the first part of the year. The term consist of Classical Ballet Class, Repertoire Class, Pas de Deux Class, Variation Class, Character Class, Contemporary Class, Body Condition Class. Students will be coached by Mr. Andrei Vassiliev, faculty of VACB and Guest Artists from around the world.
From January 20th, 2023 - May 4th, 2023 it will be the second part of the Year Round program. This section will contain four hours of training per day, 5 days a week. The term consist of Classical Ballet Class, Repertoire Class, Pas de Deux Class, Variation Class, Character Class, Contemporary Class, Body Condition Class. Students will be coached by Mr. Andrei Vassiliev, faculty of VACB and Guest Artists from around the world.



Training for Today
Vassiliev Academy works from a teaching curriculum focusing on Vaganova, Balanchine, and English methods of ballet techniques which enable our students to meet the current demands of varied repertoire including the Russian Classics, Balanchine and Contemporary works. With all his experience Mr. Vassiliev's it's enable to pass on expertise which is suited to all of today's repertoire. As such we seek to impart ballet training that develops excellence suited to match a variety of choreographic demands within the Ballet universe.
Vassiliev Academy maintains standards in line with top academies worldwide, with expectations for students to achieve the highest levels of technical ability, professionalism and artistry.
Assessments: VACB keeps the tradition of evaluating its students through 4 exams.
The students will be tested during the Second Term.
To graduate from Vassiliev Academy of Classical Ballet the student must pass 4 levels and consecutive exams that will be evaluated by judges, Directors from the best Institutions and Companies of the world.
EXAMS
Each Year Vassiliev Academy holds exams with a panel of renowned judges. Directors of companies and Principals Dancers from the best companies in the world will come to examine the students of Vassiliev Academy. The Academy have designed three exams during the Spring season. If the students complete three approved Exams, they will receive the "Graduation certificate" of the Training Program.
